WCW: Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence is just as much The Girl on Fire as her fictional counterpart, and there's no better reason to make her our #WCW! The final installment of The Hunger Games film series debuts this weekend, and while her run as Katniss Everdeen may be ending, Jennifer's fire is far from going out.

Jennifer became a household name from her work in The Hunger Games and the newest X-Men movies. She received Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for her roles in Winter's Bone and American Hustler, and she won both awards for her lead role in Silver Linings Playbook. While her experience now is mostly in the acting realm, she and pal Amy Schumer revealed plans to write and produce a female comedy together.

Jennifer is beloved for more than just her talent, though. She is known for being very outspoken, and she has remained herself throughout her rise to the top. Some of her most memorable moments include tripping on the red carpet and stairs during awards shows, photobombing friends on the red carpet, and regularly speaking whatever is on her mind.

Jennifer is also an advocate for equality and better treatment for women, especially in relation to how they are portrayed in Hollywood. She penned an essay for Lenny Letter regarding the pay gap between men and women. Also, she challenges how the media choose to show women's bodies, criticizing the constant pressure to be thinner and "perfect."

We admire Jennifer's work, but we admire her as a person even more. We love her fearlessness to be her own person and the confidence she exudes.

WCW: Little Mix

This week we don't just have just one #WCW...we have four! We're celebrating Little Mix - the powerful musical group featuring Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall.

Little Mix was formed during the eighth season of the British show The X Factor in 2011. Under the advisement of Tulisa Contostavlos, they became the first group to win the singing competition. They are still the only all-female group to have won any version of The X Factor worldwide.

Since 2011, Little Mix have released three studio albums. Their debut album, DNA, was released in 2012. It charted Top 5 in eight countries, reaching No. 2 in the UK and No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard charts. They were the first girl group to do chart in the U.S. since The Pussycat Dolls, and broke the Spice Girls's record has the highest-charting British girl group in the U.S. The most recent, Get Weird, was released worldwide last Friday, November 6.

Little Mix are heavily involved in the creative process of their albums. All four girls have writing credits on nearly all of the songs they have released, which breaks the stereotypical mold of how most people perceive female pop stars and their music. The girls also incorporate lots of acapella, beat boxing, and scatting elements into their music.

Little Mix are strong activists against bullying and cyber-bullying, specifically the BeatBullying campaign. As females in the media, they are all subject to heavy criticism, but they all believe in being better than the bullies and their words. They have also participated in Sports Relief and Children in Need philanthropic efforts.

We are so excited about how much Little Mix has accomplished! It is refreshing to see strong female friendships in the media, and we love how supportive and protective they are of one another. Girl power!

Steal Her Look: CMA Awards Red Carpet

The 49th Annual Country Music Association Awards were earlier this week, and the community's finest stepped out in their best. Their looks were so much more than studs, spurs, cowboy boots, and plaid. We chose some of our favorites and found ways for you to work them into your wardrobe!

Kimberly Perry

Kimberly Perry showed off the perfect amount of skin in her sultry cutout dress. We love the drama and confidence in this look! Our Cutaway Velvet Dress has similar tasteful cutouts, and is perfect to pair with your favorite heels for a night out.
Jewel

Jewel absolutely dazzled in her Lorena Sarbu sparkly midi dress! For a similar look, try our Copper Tone Dress. It pairs perfectly with your favorite heels for an effortless and stunning cocktail party combo!
Danielle Bradbery

We love the drama of Danielle Bradbery's Oglia-Loro dress! With the sheer paneling and floral detailing, she made a bold and beautiful statement! Our Bat Your Lashes pants and crop top create similar drama and movement with lots of lace.
Jennifer Nettles

Jennifer Nettles absolutely stunned in her mauve cutout gown. The knockout showed of her toned figure, and she was unafraid of a daring neckline. Channel her look with our Carmen Wrap Top, which has a similar color and plunging neckline.

Aubrey Peeples

We're obsessed with the structure and subtle sparkle of Aubrey Peeples's dress! The Creatures of the Wind look has a beautiful neckline with a single, sexy slit up the leg. For a similar structured neckline, try our Karen Body Con Dress, which features subtle sheer paneling.

WCW: Lauren Conrad

The hills are alive with the spirit of a mogul! Our #WCW is teenage reality star turned fashion and lifestyle icon Lauren Conrad.

LC first appeared in the limelight on MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County in 2004 when she was only 18. From there, she starred in the spinoff The Hills. In that time, she attended Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and worked at Teen Vogue and Kelly Cutrone's PR firm People's Revolution.

After her departure from the reality TV life, Lauren drove into the fashion world. Despite the lack of positive reaction to her first fashion collection, she got back up on her feet, took time to learn more about the industry, and came back stronger than before. She currently has a line available at Kohl's, and she has even collaborated with Disney for her collections.

Lauren has created a lifestyle brand for herself, even garnering comparisons to a modern Martha Stewart. Her personal blog features sections about fashion, beauty, fitness, crafts, cooking, literature, and more. LC has also published several books, including six novels and two lifestyle guides. Furthering the DIY and craft spirit, Lauren began The Little Market with one of her friends, which is a webstore specializing in handmade pieces from women of different cultures. In addition to giving women better opportunities, she is a strong advocate for motivating young people to vote.

We love LC's smart business sense, her passion, and her bubbly personality that makes her seem like she's everyone's best friend. We admire the empire she's built for herself before the age of 30, and we can't wait to see what she pursues next!
