#WCW: Audrey Hepburn

It's Wednesday and time for our #WCW post!!!! This week Audrey Hepburn and her contribution to our modern day life is the main event!

She was not only inspirational in film but also in theater and as a philanthropist. Even not with us here today, her name is still revered as is her style, acting career and philanthropic contribution. Hepburn is one of the very few people to win an Emmy, Tony, Grammy, and Academy Award (Oscar).

As a survivor of World War 2 living in an Nazi occupied country while being a supporter of the Resistance, she ended up thriving after the war gaining roles that eventually lead to her being a world wide phenomena.

After her last screen role, Always (1989), Hepburn took to helping children by becoming a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF. She travelled all over the globe to raise awareness about children in need and even after she passed from colon cancer in 1993 her legacy lives on with the Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund created by her family in her honor. This legacy of hers will undoubtedly live on forever and so will our love for this #WCW!

W/LOVE, A.
