Spring Makeup

Birds chirping, flowers blooming, spring break, longer days, breaking out the sandals ... whats not to love about spring? A new season calls for a new beauty routine. Achieve a fresh, feminine look with these simple spring makeup pointers.

Face: Clean, moisturized skin with a soft blush will give you a youthful appearance. If you need to use foundation use a liquid one that will give you enough coverage to look evened out, but will still let your skin breath. To achieve that dewy look, apply highlighting powder to the top of your cheekbones. To add a little more shine to your face use a light, shimmer eye shadow and dab it into the tear duct area of the eye, brow line, and down the middle of your nose.

Eyes: Your eye shadow should be minimal, ranging from pale shades of colors to neutrals. Go heavy on your mascara for an extra-feminine look.

Lips: Experiment with lip color. Since the eyes and face are toned down you’re free to experiment with a bright coral lipstick, or pop of fuchsia. A pale pink lip-gloss that’s pigmented will round out the look.
